About Rajgir Zoo Safari
Welcome to Rajgir Zoo Safari, Bihar's first and premier zoo safari, located within the breathtaking Rajgir Wildlife Sanctuary. Established by extending the former Mrig Vihar, Rajgir Zoo Safari is a testament to conservation, education, and immersive wildlife experiences.
Our journey began with the approval of the National Board of Wildlife in March 2015, followed by in-principle approval from the Central Zoo Authority in May 2017. On 16th December 2020, Rajgir Zoo Safari achieved a significant milestone by being officially recognized as a Zoo by the Central Zoo Authority.
